FAQs

How quickly are reports delivered?

Reports are usually delivered promptly after inspection. We will confirm the expected turnaround at the time of booking.

Do you check smoke alarms?

We record visible smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and note observed test results where accessible and safe to do so. This does not replace statutory compliance checks.

What if access fails?

If access is not available at the agreed time, a failed access or cancellation fee may apply.

What counts as an extra room?

Additional bathrooms, en-suites, gardens, balconies, garages, conservatories, utility rooms, second reception rooms and other spaces beyond the standard layout may be charged separately.

Do you recommend deposit deductions?

No. Keystone documents condition and observable changes. Landlords, agents, tenants or deposit adjudicators make decisions based on the evidence.

Can you use a third-party inventory for a check-out?

Yes, subject to the original report being sufficiently detailed and photographically supported. If the original report is poor, the check-out comparison may be limited.
